“The  decaying statue stands with it’s skeletal structure of rebar exposed. Within this desolate image, signs of hope appear, as native plants, such as trumpet-vine and milkweed, begin to reclaim their territory and the public monument grows with nature - never finished until completely overgrown with plants.
